HEAVEN'S GOT TO GO - Written by Carroll Bryant
In a world of problems life won't leave you alone
So many people talking
So many without a home
A preacher man is standing with the money in his hand
It's all about abusing
It's all about them
Nobody touch my spirit
Nobody touch my soul
Everybody, can you hear it?
Everybody, heaven's got to go
Modern crime is easily a protected human right
So many screams in the day
So many screams at night
The danger is that someone wants to blow someone away
Lurking in the shadows
Lurking inside a grave
Nobody touch my spirit
Nobody touch my soul
Everybody, can you hear it?
Everybody, heaven's got to go
Our morals are a little bit too many too few
I don't know what I should do
Kings are laughing at peasants and they're laughing at you
We don't know what to do
Gathered in the streets
It's just so difficult to tell who the hell you will meet
I got my own mind so leave the rest of me alone
I'm living in my own time and watching it from my home
Don't need advice from your words
You aren't saying anything that I haven't already heard
Just keep your own point of view
(To yourself)
I don't want to hear it
Want nothing more to do with you
Nobody touch my spirit
Nobody touch my soul
Everybody, can you hear it?
Everybody, heaven's got to go
I got my own mind so leave the rest of me alone
