I knew a man 

He had what it took but didn't understand

He had a dream

With sincere in his eyes he said, "You're just like me"

Inspiration came without warning

But precious time did slip away 

It was all just part of a journey 

And reason begot from the words he did say 

And that

The demon is gone 

Don't know where he went 

He just disappeared 

The demon is gone 

I was there just like you are here 

The demon is gone

And the demon to leave is what you must fear

I shook his hand 

I have what it takes but do I understand?

I have a dream

Don't want what he is to happen to me 

Inspiration comes without warning
