Misery

MISERY - Written by Carroll Bryant

Another cigarette
One more shot of whiskey
A curse out to the wind
The night air settles in my lungs again

Too many memories
I shake like my father
This addiction is kuku crazy
You can’t divide time without being benign

Welcome to my misery
The only place where I can be happy
I hated it when you were with me
How I love misery

I miss your company

Music is my medicine
I write it everyday
Your touches formed the melodies
Your scent lingers on display

Not enough discrepancies
I worry like my mom
Lost inside my abandon
You led me here alone

Welcome to my misery
The only place where I can be happy
I hated it when you were with me
How I love misery

I miss your company

These thoughts of you are dreams
They’re making me dizzy
I’m trapped somewhere in between
Everything and absolutely nothing

One last cigarette
One more shot of whiskey
I’m close to forgetting
All the things I forgot to forget

Welcome to my misery
The only place where I can be happy
I hated it when you were with me
How I love misery

I miss your company
